This winter, our family has been plagued with sickness. Every time we turn around, one of us isn't feeling well. The same held true for this morning; this time it was Trey's turn to be under the weather. But we decided that we weren't going to allow all of this sickness to keep us at home today! Since the girls are both healthy (knock on wood), we took Reagan to her friend's birthday party at a soccer dome in Richmond. They had a blast! Reagan was her usual outgoing, talkative self, and we had several parents comment that they couldn't believe she was only three. She ran around the soccer field, devoured a piece of pizza, and ate the icing off a piece of cake. And the goody bag to take home was just the cherry on top of a wonderful birthday celebration! Madilynn also had a great time watching all of the kids play, and she even managed to eat a whole slice of pizza!
And here are some pics of one of the girls' favorite activities: BATH TIME! (I should note that the water is red because of the little Crayola tabs that turn the water different colors.)
"While raising children, the days are long, but the years are short." As I look at my oldest daughter, I cannot believe the little person she has become. When she was an infant, I thought I would have no trouble remembering all of the milestones. However, the little things about her infancy are starting to fade, or already are gone from memory. So this blog is meant to be both a memory book and a love song to my sweet girls. Reagan and Madilynn, Pumpkin and Peanut, these are your tales....

She's Standing!
Madilynn has learned to pull herself up to standing! Two nights ago, Trey told me that he found her standing in her crib in the middle of the night, but since I didn't see it, I refused to believe it! Well lo and behold, yesterday she started pulling up and hasn't stopped! She pulls up on furniture, people, Reagan's desk, in her crib....just about everything. I know it won't be long until she is walking and then running after her big sister. My baby is growing up!
All of that standing is hard work:
And since we have had some beautiful weather lately (70 degrees in January!), here are some random pictures of the girls playing outside.
